Weekend Getaway Photoblog: little village of Bazas, France

Mathieu bought me a Smartbox for Christmas. It's basically a book of many hotels and spas and you choose one for a night. I finally decided that this was the weekend. We were really happy with our mini vacay in Bazas just relaxing at the spa and ordering pizza and beers at night. A big wedding was happening so the restaurant wasn't an option. I still regret not crashing it!

I'm an American girl living in Florida, so why do I write about the South of France? I have my husband, Mathieu to thank for that! (From the name you can assume he is indeed a Frenchman). We've lived in Bordeaux and have also traveled the country together. Our relationship has resulted in more adventures and cultural experiences than I had ever dreamed of. Thus my inspiration for showing others what France and its surrounding countries have to offer.
